I generated a statement but the balance looks wrong

Hoseki statements are historical snapshots:

• The main balance at the top shows your closing balance for the statement’s date.
• Summaries and transactions show the value of each event based on the date it occurred, not the statement’s closing date.

This means the values you see reflect what your holdings and transactions were worth at those times, not what they are worth today.

If the balance still looks wrong after considering this, please reach out to support@hoseki.app and we’ll help review it directly. In most cases, discrepancies are related to your wallet setup or the data available at the time of statement generation.
