When you create an account on Hoseki, you’ll automatically receive 5 free credits. These credits are used whenever you generate a statement from your verified Bitcoin claims.

What are credits?

Credits are used to create and deliver your ownership statements. Adding and verifying your claims is completely free — credits are only required when you generate a statement.

When are credits used?

Credits will only be used when you generate a statement for yourself. If you’re completing a verification request that was initiated by a counterparty (for example, an institution using Hoseki Verify), no credit will be deducted.

Free and paid credits

• You’ll start with 5 free credits on signup.
• After that, you can purchase additional credits anytime:
• Single credit: $2.99 (Lightning only)

• Credit packs: 5- or 10-credit bundles at a bulk discount

  Payable by Lightning or credit card (fiat)

Checking your balance

You can view your remaining credits anytime from your account dashboard in the top right hand corner by clicking to the profile icon in the top-right corner and select manage credits. If you’re out, you’ll be prompted to top up before generating your next statement.
