How to find your account identifier (XPUB) in Sparrow Wallet
Follow these steps to copy your wallet’s extended public key from Sparrow Wallet.
Before you start
- Open Sparrow Wallet on your computer.
- Load the wallet you want to export from (hardware or software).
Find your XPUB/ZPUB
- In Sparrow, click Settings from the left-hand navigation menu.
- You will find your account identifiers in the Keystore section.
- Your extended public key will appear here. You can toggle between an XPUB, ZPUB, or another format depending on the script type your wallet is using.
Info:
- ZPUB (or the equivalent key format for your wallet’s script type) is usually the simplest choice — it encodes the script type (e.g., native SegWit) so you don’t need to select it manually in Hoseki.
- XPUB is also accepted, but you’ll need to make sure to select the correct script type in Hoseki’s manual flow.
Privacy tip: Extended public keys can reveal current and future receive addresses for that account. Share them only where necessary and keep them private otherwise.
Use it in Hoseki
- In Hoseki’s Manual/Advanced flow, paste the copied XPUB/ZPUB when prompted for your account identifier.
