How to find your account identifier (XPUB) in Blockstream Wallet (Desktop)
Follow these steps to copy your account’s extended public key from the Blockstream desktop wallet using a connected Jade.
Before you start
- Connect your Jade to your computer and open the Blockstream desktop wallet.
- Unlock Jade (enter PIN and authenticate) so a session is active.
Find your XPUB/ZPUB
In the Blockstream wallet, click the three dots (additional settings) next to the device name to bring up your wallet settings.
Choose Settings.
- In Settings, click Watch-only.
Under Extended public keys, you’ll see a list of account descriptors. Select the first entry — labeled Standard and may begin with zpub (or another prefix depending on your script type).
- Click to copy the key (ZPUB/XPUB) to your clipboard.
Info: A ZPUB is simply an XPUB encoded to indicate the native SegWit (P2WPKH) script type. Hoseki’s manual flow accepts ZPUBs as well as other script-encoded extended keys. If yours looks different, don’t be alarmed — it just means your wallet is using a different script type.
Privacy tip: Extended public keys can reveal current and future receive addresses for that account. Share them only where necessary and keep them private otherwise.
Use it in Hoseki
In Hoseki’s Manual/Advanced flow, paste the copied ZPUB/XPUB when prompted for your account identifier.
